The Kelpies in Central Scotland are one of the newest and most popular attractions.

here's how to visit them

Kelpies are actually a part of Scottish folklore.   It's said that Kelpies would look for human companions and drag them underwater!

A bit gruesome!

The Kelpie statues are much more fun!

They are located midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh

They are easiest to get to by car or an organized tour

You can also get there on public transport from Edinburgh and Glasgow

You can go for a walk along the canal around the Kelpies

You'll see beautiful hills in the distance too

If you can visit the Kelpies at night time they are lit up and look awesome!

You can also see another Scottish site nearby - the Falkirk Wheel

It's only a couple of miles away where you can take a unique boat trip!
