Windsor Castle

Currently home to the Queen of England it's an easy day out being just on the outskirts of London

Hampton Court Palace

The court of Henry VIII is also near the centre of London and is home to a wealth of history. Jane Seymour died here giving birth to his son.

Hever Castle

The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII's second wife. A small but interesting castle with gorgeous grounds.

Dover Castle

A medieval fortess set in the white cliffs of Dover. It was important in WW2 as the base for the co-ordination of the Dunkirk rescue

Leeds Castle

Apparently the loveliest castle in England, Leeds castle is a Norman castle in the English countryside with beautiful rooms, a maze and grounds.
